Auckland Transport says the vast majority of people will be better off after changes to nearly every bus service in the city

Several Westmere residents have complained to Newstalk ZB their bus from the
city no longer goes as far as the shops and doesn't connect with the Outer Link.
They say it's impacting the elderly, people who are unwell and disabled, as
well as teenagers who catch it to and from school, and at the weekends.
AT spokesman James Ireland says it's not a taxi service.
He says you'll always get a few people who say the service doesn't work for
them.
Ireland says the changes mean buses will have better connections to rapid
transit, such as the Northern Busway, trains and ferries.
