New figures show only one in 277 fail their pre-employment drug tests, which
includes failures for not turning up.
Now the Drug Foundation says this shows we need to get rid off the rules that
say beneficiaries lose their benefit - if they fail a pre-employment drug test.
New Zealand Initiative Senior Research Fellow Bryce Wilkinson says these statistics put the stereotype that most beneficiaries are on
drugs to bed.
