Auckland's Mission Bay could be in for a 200 million dollar makeover
Auckland's Mission Bay could be in for a 200 million dollar makeover
11 August 2018
Landmark waterfront buildings on a block between Tamaki Drive, Patteson Ave
and Marau Crescent could be bowled down to make way for multi-storey
developments - if the proposal gets the green light.
Urban Legacy and Partners Limited is set to lodge a resource consent
application next week for the popular Auckland beach area.
The plan includes up to 100 apartments and townhouses...and even a cinema.
And Project Director Doug Osborne says Mission Bay will be totally
transformed.
He says in recent years the area has fallen behind other bays and
developments in the city.
