Former Warriors captain Ryan Hoffman still harbours hopes of playing again before he retires at the end of the NRL

Scans have confirmed the Melbourne Storm backrower ruptured the central
tendon in his left hamstring in the loss to Cronulla.
Injuries of that nature usually require an eight week rehabilitation, but the
club says Hoffman will attack his rehab with endeavour in a bid to be available
during the finals.
Storm football director Frank Ponissi says Hoffman will do
everything he can to make himself available to pull on the purple jersey again.
