Revenue Minister Stuart Nash has confirmed that the depreciation roll-over relief will stay for a further five years - until the end of the 2023-24 income year.
Canterbury Employers Chamber of Commerce CEO Leeann Watson says many businesses are still experiencing problems outside of their control such as insurance pay-out delays and problems finding tenants.
She says overall businesses have bounced back strongly and are doing well post-earthquake but those fighting these complex issues are still hurting.
