Queenstown's mayor is being sued over the collapse of a Christchurch building company

Jim Boult was one of the directors of Stonewood Homes, which went into receivership in 2016, owing unsecured creditors 15 million dollars.
It was later placed into liquidation
A statement of claim has been lodged in the High Court against Boult and Stonewood founder Brent Mettrick.
Boult says he will vigorously defend any suggestion he didn't fulfil his duties as a director of the company.
