The Silver Ferns are expected to be bolstered by the return of two legends this afternoon

Former captain Casey Kopua and experienced midcourter Laura Langman are
understood to be returning from the international wilderness when the quad
series squad is named.

Kopua is coming out of international retirement, while Langman is available
again after spending a season across the Tasman and a year away from the sport.

Former Silver Ferns captain Lesley Rumball sees
reason for optimism after the lows of the Commonwealth Games.

He says tough situations are what makes people stronger and creates a mindset
for change.

She says a lot of the players have to prove themselves again.

Netball New Zealand will name its squad at 1pm, while there will also be an
update on the coaching position.
