Time away from the game she loves has given Laura Langman a fresh outlook ahead of her return to international netball

Time away from the game she loves has given Laura Langman a fresh outlook ahead of her return to international netball

The experienced mid-courter has been named in the Silver Ferns squad for next
month's Quad Series, after being given special dispensation by Netball New
    Zealand.

Langman took a break from netball after spending a season with the Sunshine
Coast Lightning in Australia last year.

She says she used the time to try new things such as adventure racing.

The 12-strong squad for the Quad Series includes three new faces in Aliyah
Dunn, Karin Burger and Elisapeta Toeava ,
while former skipper Casey Kopua has come out of retirement to be named in an
    extended national squad.
