Novak Djokovic has finally mastered the one tennis tournament that's eluded him
20 August 2018
He's beaten long-time nemesis Roger Federer 6-4, 6-4 in the final of the
Cincinnati Masters.
Djokovic is the first player to claim all nine Masters titles since the
series started in 1990, with Cincinnati becoming his personal quest in recent
years.
He says he's played five finals here before and lost them all, most to
Federer, so he's thankful to have finally been allowed to win one.
Dutchwoman Kiki Bertens earlier stunned world number one Simona Halep in the
women's final, having come back from championship point down.
