Sophie Turner is “excited” to become Priyanka Chopra’s sister-in-law

The ‘Game of Thrones’ actress is currently engaged to Joe Jonas, and after Priyanka and Joe’s brother Nick Jonas confirmed their engagement with a traditional party in India this weekend, Sophie couldn’t be happier to welcome the fellow actress into their growing family

Taking to Instagram to repost the same picture of the couple that they had shared to confirm their engagement - which showed off the ‘Baywatch’ star’s diamond ring - Sophie, 22, wrote: “Wow. First I’m blessed with an incredible future brother-in-law, and now such an beautiful, inside and out, future sister-in-law. I’m so excited to welcome you into the family @priyankachopra . I love you both @nickjonas (sic)”

And Sophie’s fiancé Joe, 29, also shared his excitement about the engagement, sharing the same picture again on his Twitter account.

He wrote alongside it: “I couldn’t be happier for my brother. Welcome to the family @priyankachopra We love you (sic)”

Priyanka, 36, and Nick, 25, first sparked rumours of an engagement three weeks ago, but only confirmed the news after travelling to Priyanka’s home country of India so their families could meet as part of a traditional engagement party.

Nick wrote on social media: "Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love."

Whilst Priyanka said: “Taken ... with all my heart and soul.”

The ‘Jealous’ singer jokingly commented on her picture, writing: "Wow congrats. He's the luckiest guy in the world," and their pal Gigi Hadid commented "So happy for you two!!!!”

The engagement comes as a surprise as the pair only started dating in May, however things got serious quite quickly for the couple during their whirlwind romance, after Nick took Priyanka to his cousin Rachel Tamburelli's wedding in New Jersey in June.

A source said at the time: "It's a huge deal that Nick brought Priyanka to his cousin's wedding. He's dated a lot over the last couple years but it's never been anything serious, so this is a big step. Nick and Priyanka really like each other, and his family enjoyed getting to know her as well. She fit right in!"
