Manchester City's second-choice goalkeeper Claudio Bravo faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after rupturing his Achilles tendon in training
21 August 2018
Bravo is back-up to first choice keeper Ederson.
After City sold goalkeepers Joe Hart and Angus Gunn in the off-season,
manager Pep Guardiola only has 21-year-old academy product Daniel Grimshaw as
back-up to the Brazilian international.
Bravo's injury comes a week after playmaker Kevin De Bruyne was
also injured in a training session, suffering knee ligament damage that will
rule him out for three months.
