Businesses are being urged to remain positive and not buy in to alarmist doom-and-gloom commentary

The latest ASB Quarterly Economic Forecast paints a relatively positive picture, with economic growth forecast to pick up to around three percent heading into 2019.
Chief Economist Nick Tuffley says, while global trade tensions remain a concern, it's important we don't talk ourselves into a slowdown.
He says export prices are strong, and the agriculture sector has rebounded from recent weather woes.
