A taxi company says drivers should welcome everyone operating in city taxi stands
27 August 2018
This comes after a Dunedin woman, who runs a sober-driving service, told the
Otago Daily Times she was repeatedly harassed by other taxi drivers when using
the ranks.
She says her car was later vandalised.
Green Cabs general manager Rob Wheeler says they don't know if their drivers
were involved, but they have strict guidelines on how to behave.
He says as far as using city taxi ranks, drivers should welcome everyone who
is operating legally.
