The Dunedin doctor accused of murdering 16-year-old Amber-Rose Rush will apply to have the trial heard outside the city

Venod Skantha had a trial slotted in in the Dunedin High Court for next March.
Now, that looks set to change.
He appeared today in the Dunedin High Court with a new lawyer -
Christchurch's Jonathan Eaton - who is arguing for Skantha's case to be heard
elsewhere.
Eaton is working with a social media expert to show information about the
case circulating on Facebook could mean a trial in Dunedin would be biased.
