The Breakers guard has withdrawn from the squad for next month's games
against Syria in Beirut and Lebanon in Rotorua.
Webster is instead opting to settle back into New Zealand ahead of the
Breakers season after returning from China.
Coach Paul Henare says they were keen to have him in the mix, after he sat
out the last series due to Chinese commitments.
Webster's Breakers teammate Tom Abercrombie will also miss the series with a
hamstring injury.
Tai Webster and Isaac Fotu are the two overseas-based players included, with
players like Jack Salt unable to travel due to US college commitments.
