Tom Abercrombie has bulked up ahead of his 11th Australian basketball league season with the Breakers

Tom Abercrombie has bulked up ahead of his 11th Australian basketball league season with the Breakers

The veteran forward says he's put on five or six kilograms, after working
hard in the gym, rather than playing in Europe during the off-season.

Abercrombie says hopefully he can keep the weight on as it usually falls off
    him during the season.

Tom Abercrombie is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, which has
forced him out of the Tall Blacks' basketball world cup qualifiers against
    Syria and Lebanon.

But he's expecting to be fit to travel to the US for the Breakers' NBA
pre-season game against the Phoenix Suns in early October.
