The slump in business confidence is being blamed, for a slowdown in the rate of growth in hospitality

Sales across the industry for the year to March are up...to more than 11-billion dollars.
But the rate of increase is only three-point-six percent, down from around nine percent in the past two years.
Restaurant Association chief Marisa Bidois says growth is slightly subdued...for various reasons.
She says hospitality is very sensitive to the economy, especially if there's weak business confidence.
Bidois says hospitality will usually pick up changes in the economy before many other sectors.
