Who gets into Australia is Australia's business

That's the view of the Immigration Minister, after Winston Peters suggested the law could be changed - so refugees from Manus Island or Nauru can't use New Zealand as an entry point to our neighbours across the ditch.
This comes after Peters said the Government has not made a commitment to double our refugee quota - contradicting messages from the Prime Minister.
Iain Lees-Galloway says if his colleagues have ideas, he's happy to consider them.
But he's firm on his views.
He says it's a Sovereign nation's right to determine who can cross their own border, and it's not up to us to say who can go in and out of Australia.
