An expert says some high-tech vehicle security is putting lives at ris

It comes after a New Zealand employer remotely disabled a commercial vehicle,
while an employee was behind the wheel, with a foot on the accelerator.

Obsessive Vehicle Security owner Julian Dunster says lots of people ask for
remote vehicle immobilisation - but can be very risky.

He says many installers will just put it in if a customer asks for it... but
he refuses to, as disabling a moving vehicle is very dangerous.
