A man's due in the Invercargill District Court today - after a two month crime spree across the South Island

The 40-year-old man attempted to break into a commercial premises in
Invercargill around 7:45 Saturday morning before fleeing to Queenstown.
After a police pursuit, he locked himself in a toilet at Frankton BP service
station.
He was eventually arrested around four pm.
The man is facing numerous driving, failing to stop and burglary charges.
Police say his offending began in Christchurch in late June, and continued
through Ashburton, Timaru, Balclutha, Invercargill and Queenstown.
