In typical fashion, Alastair Cook has come through a tough time with success

The retiring England opener has scored his 33rd test century in his final
test innings, hitting 147 on day four of the fifth test against India at the
    Oval.

It's also seen him surpass Kumar Sangakkara as the fifth highest run scorer
    in test history.

Cook says it's been a testing week because there's been a lot of expectation
    on him to perform.

England's set India 464 to win, with the tourists struggling on 58 for three
    at stumps.
