Age Concern's encouraging elderly people to ask questions about the medicines they're taking

This is after Otago University research shows older people taking more than three high risk medications, are twice as likely to fall and break bones.
Age Concern CEO, Stephanie Clare, says prevention is better than a cure - so asking doctors about side effects of medicines is important to reduce the risk of falling.
She says it's important to understand medications and what they can do.
Clare says staying healthy and exercising can also reduce the risk of falling.
