A former Dunedin teacher who repeatedly molested a schoolboy will be sentenced in the Dunedin District Court today

A former Dunedin teacher who repeatedly molested a schoolboy will be sentenced in the Dunedin District Court today

Former Otago Boy's High School teacher David Bond pleaded guilty in July to a representative charge of indecent assault.

The incident in question took place in the late 90s, and involved a 14-year-old boy.

Police prosecutors say it happened while watching a basketball game in the school's gym.

They say the groping happened an estimated four times and caused the victim significant stress and anxiety.
