Sickness has left a number of Wellington trains without drivers this morning, forcing peak services to be cancelled
13 September 2018
Metlink says peak morning services on the Melling and Johnsonville lines have
been cancelled due to high levels of staff sickness.
There are no buses to replace the trains.
The same situation happened on Monday, when evening peak services had to be
cancelled due to illness.
And there's disruption for bus commuters too this morning.
The number 32 bus from Houghton Bay to Molesworth St at 7.51 has been
cancelled.
And the number 7 bus from Kingston to Wellington at the same time is also
cancelled.
