Company OneFortyOne announced today it intends to buy the Manuka Island forest estate near Blenheim.
Chief Executive Officer Linda Sewell says the purchase reflects its intention to keep investing in the regions where they're an established presence.
She says it complements their recent purchase of Nelson Forests.
The proposed purchase is being reviewed by the Overseas Investment Office.
