Missed opportunities have cost Michael Venus on day one of New Zealand's Davis Cup tie against South Korea

Venus has been beaten by Korean number one Duckhee Lee in their singles rubber 7-5, 6-7, 6-2, after compatriot Rubin Statham earlier won in straight sets.

New Zealand captain Alistair Hunt says it's just the way tennis and the Davis Cup plays out sometimes.
