    Two people killed in a crash at Waharoa

    Two people killed in a crash at Waharoa, were a young transgender couple travelling to Hobbiton


    17-year-old Damien Currie and 21-year-old Skyler Wright died in Waikato hospital, after their car smashed into a truck two weeks ago.

    Skyler Wright's god-sister, Anastasia Courtney, says friends and family are completely heartbroken.

    A police spokesperson said no charges will be laid over the crash and the deaths have been referred to the coroner.
