The umpire at the centre of the Serena Williams controversy has successfully returned to the court

Carlos Ramos was accused of sexism by Williams during the US Open final, which led to him being vilified by her fans following the match.
Since the match Ramos has received the full backing from the International Tennis Federation for his actions in the final.
He made his successful return in the Davis Cup semi-final between Croatia's Marin Cilic and America's Frances Tiafoe, with Cilic winning in straight sets.
