Police have concerns for the safety of a man wanted in relation to a fatal assault in Lower Hutt

29-year-old Faapaia Fonoilaepa, a painter for Avalon, died from injuries sustained from the assault on Friday night in Taita.
Police says they're continuing to investigate and are seeking a Maori man, aged 30 to 40, with facial tattoos.
They say the man may have been assaulted and require medical attention.
CCTV footage has also shown a number of vehicles drove past when the altercation was happening.
