    It's been a busy night for emergency services around the country


    A man's in a critical condition, after his motorbike hit a barrier in Upper Hutt about 4.30 yesterday afternoon.

    A person was seriously injured in a crash in Karapiro, in Waikato, shortly before 9pm.

    One person was seriously injured and another suffered moderate injuries, after a crash in Otara, in south Auckland, shortly before 11pm.

    Another person was injured, after their car crashed into a power poll and through a fence in Waitara just before midnight.
