It's not yet clear where the extra 500 refugees the country's going to take, will come from

The Government's announced it will be increasing the annual refugee quota to 15 hundred dollars by mid 2020.
Immigration Minister Iain Lees-Galloway says every couple of years the Government determines the mix of regions where people come from.
He say we're very heavily focussed on the Asia-Pacific region at the moment.
Iain Lees-Galloway says for a few years New Zealand decided it was an important role for us as a good neighbour to focus on this part of the world.
He says that's a decision Cabinet will have to make soon.
