A lower speed limit is one of a number of changes coming to a dangerous stretch of Wellington road

From today the limit on State Highway 58 between State Highway 2 and the Pauatahanui roundabout will be 80 kilometres an hour.
The road has seen 200 crashes in the past 10 years...causing dozens of serious injuries and four deaths.
The Transport Agency is planning other changes including median barriers, better intersections and widening the road.
