Playmaker Mason Lino is the latest Warriors player to be linked with a shift to Newcastle

Playmaker Mason Lino is the latest Warriors player to be linked with a shift to Newcastle

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The New Zealand Herald reports Lino has been given permission to test his market value despite having a year to run on his deal at Mount Smart.

Lino is unlikely to usurp five-eighth Blake Green or halfback Shaun Johnson in the Warriors side in 2019, but may face similar roadblocks at Newcastle.

It was revealed earlier in the week that off-contact hooker Issac Luke is also in discussions with Newcastle, who have offered him a two year deal but with the second year being an option in the club's favour.

Luke will undergo surgery next week on his latest shoulder injury and could miss the start of next season.
