Val Chmerkovskiy “can’t wait” to have kids with his fiancée Jenna Johnson

The 32-year-old professional dancer popped the question to his girlfriend and fellow dance star Jenna in June this year, and although they’re yet to tie the knot, they’re already thinking about the next step of their lives together, as they’re excited to start a family

Val said: “I think Jenna’s going to be an incredible mom. She’s already an amazing companion and I love her very much for many reasons - her loyalty and ambition and passion for life in general.

“I know our future is bright because together we can do anything we want to do. I can’t wait to have her by my side.”

Whilst Jenna added: “We’re literally both the same person, just male and female, so I can’t wait to see how intense and competitive and passionate about life our kids are too.”

The ‘Dancing with the Stars’ couple both come from big families, and are excited to celebrate their big day - which is set for next year - with all their loved ones by their sides.

Jenna said: “We both come from very big, passionate families, and so it’s going to be fun to have them all in one place. I can’t wait!”

And Val continued: “'My Big Fat Greek Wedding’ meets ‘Eastern Promises’ meets ‘Meet the Parents’. A big reason why I fell in love with Jenna was how much she cherishes her family. And my family means the world to me. Our families are very different but the common denominator is love. Together we can build a bigger family and create a bigger village.”

Val doesn’t have too many nerves when it comes to the wedding, as he admits the scariest part of the process was asking Jenna’s father for permission to marry his daughter.

Speaking to People magazine in a joint interview, he said: “I was more nervous asking her father for permission than anything.”
