Andrew Little will hold hui in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, aimed at reaching out to members of our largest tribe, Ngapuhi.
Mr Little says around 25 thousand Ngapuhi are believed to live in Australia.
He says they'll ultimately be the beneficiaries of any agreement, so it's important they have a say.
The talks are all about logistics at the moment - Andrew Little will be updating Ngapuhi Aussies on a new structure to improve their representation in the settlement negotiations.
