35-year-old Nigel Taylor allegedly supplied or offered to supply methamphetamine on various occasions last month.
Police say they found precursor substances and gear, including acids, a steam distiller and gas stove - allegedly used to cook meth, about four weeks ago.
Taylor appeared in the Christchurch District Court this morning via video-link and has been remanded in custody without plea, to appear in Blenheim in mid-October.
He's also facing charges including cannabis dealing, procuring morphine and breaching a protection order.
