Greater Wellington Regional Council says it has taken measures to support good-faith bargaining between bus operators and the union

Tramways Union drivers have voted to strike indefinitely from October 23 if they can't reach a collective agreement deal.
That's prompted Rongotai MP Paul Eagle to ask the council to intervene.
Council chief executive Greg Campbell says he's offered to bring the parties together.
He says he's written expressing the council's position and stressing that it expects good-faith bargaining to operate.
