Hang on, help is on its way

Hang on, help is on its way

That's the refrain of the Greens on the eve of Mental Health Awareness Week.

The party's mental health spokeswoman Chloe Swarbrick is reaffirming its drive for an increase in mental health funding, free counselling for under-25s and greater support for community and youth-led initiatives.

She says the Government's mental health inquiry is due to report back at the end of the month.

Ms Swarbrick says as soon as it comes back the Government will be held accountable to deliver.
