The Breakers are determined to show their old captain they will be fine without him

The Breakers are determined to show their old captain they will be fine without him

Game one of the new Australian basketball league season pits them against Mika Vukona and the Brisbane Bullets tonight.

Breakers coach Kevin Braswell says Vukona's presence on the court will hopefully lift his team.

He says they have great respect for him, but they are determined to show him that they want to win the game.

Tip off at Spark Arena is at 7.20pm
