Several players, including 15s regulars Theresa Fitzpatrick and Alena Saili will miss the matches against the USA and France due to sevens commitments.
But Black Ferns coach Glenn Moore says it's all part of their plan.
He says there are players he puts forward to play sevens, who will benefit from being in the environment, for the development of them and the game.
He says a lot of it is to do with player well-beings too.
Meanwhile several players who missed out on the All Blacks including Brad Weber and Akira Ioane have been called up by Maori coach Clayton McMillan for their end of year tour.
Five players picked in the All Blacks 19-man wider squad will also be released, but only for the South American leg.
