An anti-vaccination group is pushing back against a ruling its controversial Auckland billboard breached advertising standards

An anti-vaccination group is pushing back against a ruling its controversial Auckland billboard breached advertising standards

The billboard was erected for a day above Auckland's Southern Motorway near Middlemore Hospital, and claimed vaccination was risky.

The Advertising Standards Authority received nearly 150 complaints about the ad, which it has upheld - finding the billboard was misleading and socially irresponsible.

Anti-vaccination group Waves NZ put up the billboard and says it plans to appeal the decision.
