Joseph Parker's next opponent already feels he's on the back foot heading into the upcoming boxing bout

The kiwi heavyweight will fight Mexican-American Alexander Flores in Christchurch on December 15.

Flores has a 17-1 record and has previously sparred with Parker's former opponent Andy Ruiz, who Parker beat for the WBO heavyweight title in Auckland.

Flores expects Parker's home advantage to give him the upper hand on the judges' scorecards early on.

He says he already knows he's a couple of rounds down before the fight due to being away as he feels Ruiz was before he lost in a points decision.

Joseph Parker's currently taking part in a camp in Las Vegas.
