Today's planned strike action has been delayed until Thursday, due to legal reasons.
Tramways Union says it's in negotiations with Uzabus and NZ Bus so the industrial action will only involve Tranzurban drivers.
NZ Bus driver Philip Darkins says he'll be picketing at a Tranzurban depot during his break on Thursday.
Another NZ Bus driver and union delegate Daniel Scotford says Tranzurban drivers have his support.
He says there's a very clear expectation that NZ Bus drivers- although not on strike- will be out on the picket line.
Tranzurban says it's confident it can manage the looming industrial action.
