2019 has eclipsed his French Open winning title of last year for Kiwi doubles tennis player Michael Venus

He's qualified for the season ending ATP World Tour finals for the second straight year, a week after becoming a father for the first time.

Venus and his South African partner Raven Klaasen have booked their place in the elite eight team field for London with two tournaments to spare.

Venus says it was hard to leave his daughter for this week's tournament in Basel.
