Corey Anderson just wants to get back wearing the black cap

Corey Anderson just wants to get back wearing the black cap

The allrounder has been included in the Black Caps 13 man squad for their three Twenty20s against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates.

Back surgery has meant Anderson hasn't played for New Zealand since the Champions Trophy last June.

He says he's had good discussions with new Black Caps coach Gary Stead.

He says Stead and the other selectors want to see him used through the middle with bat and ball, which is a similar role to the past.

The first match is on October the 31st.
