The Black Caps allrounder hasn't featured for the national side since the Champions Trophy last June, after undergoing back surgery.
But that drought looks likely to be ended, after being named in the squad for the three Twenty20s against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates, starting at the end of the month.
Currently in the UAE captaining the New Zealand A team, Anderson says bowling in particular is feeling good.
