Auckland's ASB men's Classic is likely to see all eight seeds ranked among the world's top 30 players this summer

Auckland's ASB men's Classic is likely to see all eight seeds ranked among the world's top 30 players this summer

Frenchman Gael Monfils is the latest star to sign up for the ATP tournament, electing not to defend his Doha title , instead starting his season down under.

The 32 year old is ranked 30th having been as high as six.

Tournament director Karl Budge says there are still more big name signings to come before the entry deadline later this month.

He says they know they have more top 20 ranked players and they have a lot in the top 30.
