Inland Revenue is warning New Zealanders to prepare for the biggest tax changes in a generation

Parliament is expected to pass legislation, allowing automated tax refunds to be sent to the bank accounts of 1.67 million people.
Many of them will have had no recent contact with the tax department.
Inland Revenue Commissioner Naomi Ferguson says almost every household and business will be affected by the tax changes.
She says there will be a fundamental shift in the way New Zealanders interact with the revenue system.
