All Blacks coach Steve Hansen is still searching for his top midfield combination

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen is still searching for his top midfield combination

For this weekend's test with England the selectors have paired Sonny Bill Williams and Jack Goodhue together, with Ryan Crotty in the reserves.

Hansen says the All Blacks are blessed with midfielders to choose from and it doesn't matter which ones they use.

He says they just have to work out what are the good combinations, and what they can do with the bench when they have a particular combination.

Steve Hansen says doing all that will give them a lot of information for the future.
