    Genesis is rejecting suggestions big power companies are ripping customers off


    A number of independent retailers have complained to the Electricity Authority , saying prices set by the big wholesalers aren't justified.

    The complaint comes amid a significant surge in power prices.

    Genesis says the accusations are without substance.
